Please note: When attending Orchid Doctor sessions and bringing a diseased or infested plant you wish to discuss, please place a sample in a sealed Ziploc bag to bring to the meeting.

Topic – I Bought This Orchid, Now What?

Have you ever purchased an orchid, got it home and then thought, “What on earth do I do with this now? Am I supposed to repot it right away? Do I repot it if it’s in bloom?” What if you have never had this type of orchid before and you can’t remember what the vendor said about how to take care of it? The focus will be on Phalaenopsis and Cattleyas.

Learn the answers to these questions and more from our member experts Rae Jean Walker and Jim Rawson. They will also walk you through available resources to research information on your own, including what is available on our very own Naples Orchid Society website. You will have an opportunity to ask your own questions and get answers. Information will flow like water from a firehose.
